If you didn&#039;t take note of how much disk space you were using before.. how do you know you are using a lot more now?

Pull &quot;ncdu&quot; from slackbuilds.org and use it to find out where your space is being used. I wouldn&#039;t expect there to be lot of use by kernel sources and build directories - but it entirely depends on what &quot;a lot&quot; means to you and what available resource your machine has.</description>

Following the guide, /usr/src/linux should be the configured source for your running kernel. If for whatever reason the location of your configured kernel source is different to /usr/src/linux, then you need to tell that to the build system for any modules you want to compile.
